Fort Blackmore and Dungannon Fire Departments participated in a training on Saturday at the Clinchport Hot House. New members from both fire departments were introduced to using SCBA in a hazardous environment. For five hours, the two departments worked in two different sticks on a walkthrough, search techniques, fire behavior, and knockdown. FBVFD's tanker provided water and worked all evening as the primary engine. We hope to do it again next year before UnklJim gives out... but, thanks to Jason Perry's efforts as the nr. two stick leader, everyone came out alive and well. Hope to do it again next year.
