Fire Prevention

Fire Prevention Program was presented by members of the Fort Blackmore Fire Department in September of 2013.  Care was used to present the fire service as professional and caring.  The Instructor discussed smoke detectors and played a game with all the students about crawling through smoke.  A fully turned-out firefighter walked throughout the students assembled and shook hands to decrease the natural fear of firefighters in all their gear.  A crawl through of the trucks was also handled with care.  A final picture was taken of the fire crew and all the students in front of Truck 703 and Tanker 706.
