Fire Prevention Program at Fort Blackmore Primary School
On October 15, 2013, the Fort Blackmore Fire Department gave a Fire Prevention Program at Fort Blackmore Primary School. Grades K-through-3 were represented. The Program consisted of a short discussion on Kitchen Fires, Smoke Detectors and CO2 Detectors, firefighter turnouts, meeting a firefighter while wearing turnouts, and a walk-through inspection of 706, 703, and 705. Present were Chief Eric Ross, Assistant Chief Jason Perry, 1st Captain D-Ray Saul, 2nd Captain Jim Currier, and Sgt. Roger Brickey.
