CPR/AED CLASSES

Fort Blackmore Fire Department provided AHA CPR Classes for 14 Scott County 911 dispatchers during January and February of 2013.  The dispatchers took part in the CPR classes during two different training days.  AHA CPR/AED is comprised of adult and child CPR and AED, including choking hazards.  Also, infant CPR with choking hazards was taught in case the dispatchers came across an infant in distress.  All the Scott County 911 dispatchers passed their tests and were awarded with CPR cards.  The classes and cards were made possible through a grant from Fort Blackmore Fire Department Chief Eric Ross.
