Fort Blackmore Fire Department held its annual Fire Prevention Program for Fort Blackmore Primary School at 1:45pm on Wednesday, 12th of October, 2016.
The Department instructed the students in Evacuation of a Dwelling, Calling 9-1-1, Shaking Hands with a Firefighter in his full turn-outs, and a Truck Crawl-Through. The students seemed excited to be there, as were the Firefighters. The presentation ended at 2:30pm and allowed the students and faculty to continue their normal day.
Thank you to Ms. Meade and the Assistant Principal and Teachers, Faculty, and Staff for allowing us to share this important part of life with the students. We hope to be invited to do the same thing next year.
